I signed a contract with Buy and Sell in 2008. I was told that they were able to get the information about the Companion Burial Plots we have for sale out in the marketplace through all types of Advertisement Agencies.
Arthur, my contact, went on and on about the Ad that would be placed on the Web-site and they would have local photographers go to the Cemetery and take real time pictures and Video of the actual site. When I looked at the Web-site I was shocked at how bad the pictures were and that they were posted way too soon to get anyone local to do such a shoddy job. The 'Video' thing never happened.
I actually sent by e-mail photos I had copied and pasted from the Cemetery Web-site... They were actually beautiful...
We were told that we would get e-mails from interested buyers and that they were set up to do all the legal paperwork in the selling of our property.
About 6 months ago I called a number of times wanting to get some help because I NEVER go one single response. I had gone in time after time to see if anyone in Charleston had listed a plot for sale with them... None. No competition at all. Finally Tammy called me to discuss this situation assuring me she had my back. She convinced me to hold off for a few more months since they were planning a new Ad campaign of some sort. I agreed.
2 days ago I I tried to call them. I had their number in my phone and had used the same number on numerous occasions... This time it just indicated that the number was not in service. After I checked the web-site to verify the number I redialed... Same thing... However... This time as soon as I disconnected I got a call back from the woman who I think is the 'receptionist' Not Tammy wanting to know what I wanted... She verified that I was M*B*.
She said Tammy was no longer with the company... That didn't surprise me... She was much too nice and informative than Anyone had ever been.
I told them I wanted my money back because I had not gotten ONE SINGLE response in all these years.
The woman said shed talk to them and call me back but not to expect the answer I wanted. No response from her yet!
I also went to the web-site and found that my 'listing' is no longer in the data-base...
I would like to get in contact with anyone else who has filed a report on them and start building a case to File a Suite against them. We are senior citizens and don't have money to waste. Anyone out there with information or wanting to get busy stopping these people from ripping others off will get any help we can offer.
