Do not use pool & drain professor!!! We are into 11 weeks of dealing with these guys and each day gets worse. On May 14 we signed an agreement with Nick Noel for replacing our above ground pool liner and some other small repairs. He took our down payment of $850.00 and we have only seen him once since then.
At two plus weeks into waiting we began calling him for updates. If he answered it was one excuse after the other. We even gave him 2 extra weeks to get his act together while we were out of town due to the passing of my Mother.in July, while we were dealing with the death, we got calls promising to even do extra work to make this right. We said "just do what we are expecting from you and the agreement that we have."
Our signed agreement with him was to provide new plumbing lines from the skimmer to the pump. He stated he would be hard piping these with PVC.instead he went back with heavy duty flex pipe but with glued fittings, no unions. There is no way to disconnect the electric pump motor or the sand filter from the piping because of the glued fittings. As a home owner, this makes it difficult to change the filter sand or remove the pump over the winter which I commonly due. Furthermore, when he took the old piping out, he disconnected our slides water feed hose and never hooked it back up or provide provisions for the same.
Finally on July 23rd, they claimed they had the liner and was ready to install it. Nick's brother came one day and started putting up the wall foam, he finally had our pool liner with him. About 45 minutes into his work, he said he didn't have enough wall foam to finish the job and he said he would come back the next day to finish the job. That was 3 days ago and we haven't seen or heard from them since. The pool foam he installed is now laying in the bottom of the pool. I since discovered that he installed it wrong anyway.
These guys are unprofessional and should not be in the business at all. Everything that we have heard from them has been lies.
We now have our liner, but will have to start from square one to get our pool back in swimming order. We are also aware that the liner did not cost the $850.00 that we are out at this time.
We gave these guys chance after chance to make this right and we are left without our money or our pool.
This has been a truly awful experience, a real NIGHTMARE!!!
