After purchasing Old Orchard lemonade which was undrinkable, I wrote to them complaining of the inferior quality of their product, so they sent me a coupon to try it again. I used the coupon Old Orchard sent to me to obtain another container of this lemonade, brought it home, opened it up and mixed it according to the directions using filtered water. IT STILL IS THE WORST TASTING LEMONADE I HAVE EVER ENCOUNTERED WITH A TERRIBLE AFTER TASTE.
So I contacted them again and this was their response - "I thought in my letter to you that I had stated that we have reformulated this product and to try something with an expiration date after 07APR13; I apologize if I did not. The formula that you repurchased is the same formula as the first time that you tried the product; therefore, it would not have a different taste."
Huh? My response to this - "No, you never suggested that I purchase your reformulated version (?) with another expiration date on it.
Question - How do you reformulate fruit juice, sugar, corn syrup and water?
Another question - If the version I purchased needed to be reformulated, why is it still in the freezer case at my local food store? What does this tell me as a consumer about your quality control?"
