Mike did a remodel for us. Had we done more homework, we would have never let him in our home. Turns out he lived in Gainsville Florida and had criminal charges against him along with a rather large judgement. His "clients" had to collect from the Florida Recovery Fund. It appears he fled and moved to Minnesota to escape his problems there. The final straw was when the State of Minnesota called us and asked us to testify against him for unemployment fraud. He lied about work in progress, had no idea what he was doing and we ended up 40% over budget before we had to spend another $10K fixing his errors. Using a level and a tape measure was beyond him. We have a wall he put up that is a half inch off - What a nightmare. His rallying cry was "I'll fix it". I think he'd rip off his own mother given the chance. What a nightmare. Don't trust this guys with anything!
