Retail Creditor: Lane Bryant with Financial Network National Bank has invented a false story that I owe them $273.15 (with a File No. And an original Acct. No.)
all made up! I closed my Lane Bryant Acct. A couple of years ago and had it all paid off. Haven't reopened the Acct. Or used it since. They sent this "false" account to the "American Agencies of California" for collection. At the bottom of the paper there is a "DOUBLE" COUPON TYPE PAYMENT from the Agency to be used with one's payment enclosure. After cutting out the DOUBLE COUPON&you have two choices:#1 if you pay 1/2 of the debt owed you will be paid off completely. #2 if you prefer to make monthly payments, you will still get double credit for your 1st payment if you make a payment equal to, or greater for the remaining months, until "your account is satisfied". A User ID number, email address and Password letters and numbers are provided for those who want to pay online. You are given 30 days to notify the office if you wish to dispute the debt.
