Being new to coin collecting, I purchased coins from New York Mint and was assured they were Brilliant Uncirculated, grade 60 or better. After receiving, coins were sent off to be graded by Numismatic Guaranty Corp. Coins came back as grades 45 to 58!! Their value was less than half what they charged me. When notified, they refused to refund my purchase price.
Shipped me merchandise and charged my credit card almost $6000.00 for merchandise I did not order.
Shipped me a coin and tried to charge me almost $17,000.00 for a coin valued at approximately ten thousand.
These folks are slick as an oil spot on the garage floor! If you're a coin collecter—serious or casual— steer clear!!
