This had to be the worst moving experience we have ever had. There was absolutely no communication from the Starving Student Movers corporate officewhen they would pick up our items or when they finally did, nocommunication when these items would be delivered. Many calls to thecorporate office were never returned and had to rely on our localbranch to get any kind of information. Unfortunately, theirinformation on delivery was completely wrong and cost my son, whoseapartment the items they were going, great stress and inconvenience.
WhenI did speak to the corporate dispatcher, I was treated rudely, withoutrespect, and without any effort for accommodation or compensation forthe inconvenience the company caused my son and my family.
Themovers, themselves, were excellent, but because of the grief caused bythe corporate office I will never use this company again and willrecommend to my friends and family to do likewise.
PS. The total amount for the move was $150.00 over the quoted price.
