First i did put out request for information for gant money. Many months latter i gor phone call from person (adam palmer grant eligibility specialist) talked with him he took my information, and expalined that he woulg get back to me. Week or 2 latter adam called me back with the report that my company was eligibal for grant and he took more info. After that he told that the cost of doing the research and basic preparation would coast $7500 U.S.C. This seemed high but they stuck to their guns. I prepared a check and signed the documents that they had e-mailed to me, and faxed back to them. They processed the check (which now scares me) by creating a new check with the routing numbers and check number on the original, and cashed the check.
2 weeks latter got call from one neftalia rivera as vice pres. Of operations, expalining to me that my grant had moves to him and that he had done some research and had 2 foundations that were very interested in funding my grant, but that they would not fund private cor. But wanted to do non-profit, so we talked about thay which i was already interested in, and that the costs of doing that would be, and doing, monitoring, publishing the grant they furnished 21 pages of things that they would do, and that this would cost extra $10,000 usd. I said ok they sent fedx with papers and return them and that was the last that i have heard now 3 weeks.
I took class on grant writing at local community college b4 i got involved with these people. These people have done their home work, they know all the right phrases to use, words and the like. The things that i learned in the class were down the same road as the co. Was doing, and after the class i realised that i never would be able to write my own grant and this is why i elected to use the co. They were good, their phone system is terrible cannot get thru. Their web site is good and cost much to put up and maintain, have left messages there, but i don't think that they look at that, i don't know what if somebody wants grant. They are good and done home work, yes writing grant is free, but you must be good writer, i am not so willing to pay, all i wanted was money to help start local grown fish (talapia) farm, hire some people now i am in debt and broke. The gov. Is too busy trying to get health care, while people are stealing from us, and unless you know about this web site you ahve no real way to check out these people.
