Bogus Offrer - I checked in to this website first to verify validity and found out about the scam before I went any further

I received a letter ffrom "Publishers Clearing House" with the prominent logo announcing that I was the winner of $7 Million Dollars. A check for $5,935.00 was included with the literature. Printed on the check was the name and address of the company I am reporting and the name of the bank: Ocean Bank, 780 NW 42nd Ave, Miami, FL 33126-5536.

I am instructed to contact Mr. Mark Hagen at 1- (888) 832-5727 before cashing the check and provide him with security code provided: Q0092XQQ. Furthermore, I am told that Mr. Henry Cohen is the Internal Revenue agent handling my file.

The letter is signed by Christopher Potter, Chief Financial Officer

After reviewing the rip-off files already posted here, I immediately ripped up the letter and check before pursuing it any further.
