I was fraudulently billed for services through AT&T by the company OAN/Laurentel. No contact information was provided by AT&T on my bill. $8.43 for a set up fee billed in December, and $8.23 for monthly services billed in January. I have never heard of this company, nor did I order any services from them. Thinking AT&T would clear it up, I contacted AT&T and got no help except for a contact phone # for OAN.
AT&T would not reverse the charges, and told me I had to work it out with OAN. Kind of hard to do when this company identifies your phone# when you call and automatically routes you to a full voicemail box!
I contacted AT&T again. They were still unwilling to do anything about it, until I reminded them that I had a 3rd party block on my phone through Bellsouth (whom they acquired), at which time they reversed the charges and put the block back on.
I don't doubt that I will not get any credit or cooperation from OAN, who is obviously running a scam, but I am disgusted with AT&T's lack of service and support on their customer's behalf.
I filed an online complaint report with the FCC, which is easy to do from their website.
