Imperial Consumer Services Aka Beneficial Client
Ripoff. Once shame on you, rip me off twice, you'll get yours! N. Palm beach

Around Mid-May, I foolishly agreed to utilize the membership offered by Beneficial Client. They offered a credit card with a $5,000 limit for the one time only price of membership at $197,00, to be deducted from my Visa credit card.

I was to receive their catalog with hundreds of name brand items to be used if I needed anything, along with, I thought, use at ANY store who accepted VISA. Once I realized I could only use their credit card at their catalog, I knew I had been duped and called within the 3-day time limit to cancel the deal. Guess what? The number I was given to call had a voice mail on it advising me it was full and to try back another time. I did this for 3 days and finally got a live person to talk to. Once I explained my plight, I was advised I would receive a credit card refund within 10 to 14 working days, and this did happen.

Now, 5 months later in going over my bank statement for October, I find ANOTHER debit for $197.00, to the same Beneficial Client!

Now I'm MAD! I called the number on the bank statement charge and was informed I had to contact Imperial Consumer Services for any action to be taken. When I called them, I was informed they had a "NO REFUND POLICY"! When I asked for a supervisor, the clerk on the phone advised me to write a description of what happened and gave me an address to mail it to. I did as she (Luanna) told me to do and it has now been two months with NO REPLY!

How do these people get away with charging my credit card without any permission? This means every few months they can do this again if they want to, unless I cancel my credit card and get a new number. (That's a thought. I'll do this TODAY, at least to prevent this from happening again, and I will NEVER give out my credit card number over the phone again unless I'm absolutely certain I'm dealing with a reputable firm.)

I only hope this letter does some good for me and helps someone else get their money back and bring these crooks to an end. SOON.

P.S. I threw away all my names and info from the first experience, once I got my money back. Now, I wonder if those people even give out their right names. They surely won't want God to know who they are at judgement day.
