I'm sending a report against the Spherion, Providence office. They are a very nasty office. First they did not report my wages in 2006 from April to July for unemployment purposes. So I had to live on very meager amount of unemployment compensation. No company can do that. That caused a terrible amount of emotional distress and hardship. I also found that this Spherion office never even bothered to change my address when I had called them and gave this information.
I was also told that I could get benefits and the contact person never returned my calls. This company had also sent me on to 2 very sleazy and corrupt businesses in RI, American Biophysics and Brooks Pharmacy, which I found out would be closing down on the first week of working there! I suggest the coporate office at Spherion to investigate the business practices going on at this location.
There should be a more competent workforce there as opposed to the people who run this Providence location. Not reorting wages and ignoring workers is very unacceptable.
