Told me I won i million euro Berman

I belive these people are trying to extort money. I have received similar emails and every time after i reply to tell them to send me a cashiers check becase i won't give out my personal banking info them i am told i'll need to send them money to process the funds..
Is there someway to stop these scammers?
I have never sent money of course but i'm wondering if maybe some people do. Can these scammers be stopped?
