Go ahead, sign up and compare the pricing on each item. You can get that same item at the same price or even lower at a regular/trusted retail store. Don't let them fool you into thinking you are getting some kind of "special pricing". Now they offer a "free webstore".
You HAVE to sign up with startlogic (a hosting site) and give them your log in and password. At this point, it's obvious that apex-audio is probably an affiliate and gets paid for every person it signs up. On top of all this, if you sign up on that "secret" site, you will see that you can't purchase anything via credit or debit card. It has to be money order or check! WTF!? Also, it takes 1-4 weeks for delivery!!! You can get those same items for the same price or cheaper at any other trusted retail store and have it within 7 days.
Back to the "free webstore". All they do is redirect your domain.in other words, they don't load anything to your server. Suppose that your site is www.audio.com, it would simply redirect to audio. Wholesaleaudio.net Sure, you can count how many hits you get, but how do you know who is purchasing what? You don't. Yes, I made a site. I wont disclose that information. But, I tried to buy from my own site and it won't let me. But, there are banners all over the site! Hmmm, pay per click or advertising maybe?
Try to call them! OMG, you have to call between certain hours for different situations. You can't just call anytime with any question or problem. It has to be between certain hours for each individual problem. Ridiculous. Just remember that wholesale is items purchase at a discount, but for them to be discounted, it has to be purchased in bulk. So, how can you possibly be buying wholesale unless you are a major retail store or distributor?
They obviously prey on the weak minded, lower income individuals who want to try to make any extra income. Why did I do it? To prove a point to some friends and I make enough. I go to these places and discover the truth behind it all and notify people before they waste their hard earned money. If you recall, Apex Audio is/was in the back of lowrider magazines. I believe they may be in a few other magazines.
