After stumbling across some IPA information a couple of days ago on the internet, I started surfing because I worked as a Senior Business Analyst for IPA back in 2001 and just wanted to see what deception they are currently using to sell BS consulting. I couldn't believe all of these entries. Unfortunately, they are ALL true!!! In the 4 months that I analyzed (sold consulting) for them, there is only one thing I want to say, "Please FORGIVE me". I truly believe that "real" consulting can and will benefit business. I also believe that most business owners are sitting on a gold mine and if given professional direction (if they don't already have it), the rewards of their labor will be more than they ever dreamed of. Because of my beliefs, it was difficult for you to say "no" to me. I made friends with the business owners I sold and for that reason, I decided to follow-up with a client one day (months later) (this was forbidden by IPA). The owner (friend) wanted to KILL me. I then chose to contact other sales. ALL OF THEM gave me a similar response. Let me add that I hadn't been paid in 3 months any "commissions" and I had to battle weekly for my per-diems. Everything hit me like a brick that day and I resigned. As I read some of the entries here on this site, I am compelled to STRESS that you will be ripped-off. As a client or an employee you will be harassed and robbed. I choose to not reiterate all of the entries already posted, but if you would like to know more, I will respond to your inquiries.
