Walking into Timeless Productions was a pleasant experience at first. Little did I know at the time that the person sitting behind the front desk as the receptionist was actually the Vice-President of the company, but was nice enough.
Jane explained our options for videography for our wedding with my FIANCE present and we put down $100 for our deposit because we did not have the remaining monies for a deposit that they wanted us to pay.in our contract it specifically stated that we put down only $100 at the time of our contract signing.
Later that month we made some payments to help make up for what we did not have when we sat down the first time. Long story short we paid them off in about two months. Then later wanted to cancel our contract.
PER OUR CONTRACT - We were entitled to all monies back except the intital consideration put down on our first meeting (Which was $100) Timeless refused to give us back that money stating that they were entitled to keep the monies paid to them later that month to make up for the deposit. NOT ACCORDING TO OUR CONTRACT!!!
We hired an attorney, when Jane (VP) received the letter from them she wrote back stating that she did not know who my fiance was (EVEN THOUGH HE WAS SITTING NEXT TO ME THE WHOLE TIME!) I was so upset that she would blantantly lie.
Currently we are in the process of at least trying to recover the rest of our money (They say that they owe us) However, this process is an act of congress in itself. She did respond to my first few emails regarding this situation, but has ignored them for the last two weeks. I am writing a certified letter now asking for an update on our refund.
In a previous email she had sent to me she advised that it would be 10-14 business days to process the refund once their merchant had reviewed the paperwork for it. I sent this request in 24 business days ago. I think it has allowed plenty of time.
My advice: Don't use these people! They would rather go through all of this negative publicity than to give me my stinkin' money back. To top it off, my wedding planner has swore never to refer them to anyone. Go figure!!!
