I had the same experience as others who reported on this site. Following this site's editor's advice, I reported to my bank the fraudulent charges to my account. Bank of America has, so far, been very cooperative with me on this. They have credited my account for the total amount, temporarily, while they file the report and follow up on it (hopefully).
If you do report that fraudulent activity has occured on your account, tell the bank you want to file a dispute and ask that a Federal Regulation form E be filled out and submitted. The bank representative may do it for you over the telephone. B of A did this for me and is sending me copies and forms to sign in the mail. Apparently, they cannot fax these items.
