We need imprinted carpenter's pencils. Not easy to find, especially in the quantity we can afford to order. Our first order went perfect with them. Right pencils, right color, right imprint, right price. Smooth, quick delivery.
So the next year we ordered again. Exact duplicate of first order. We FINALLY got one box (should have been 2 boxes) of imprinted, inferior quality carpenters pencils in all sort of mixed colors. We had ordered all red with white lettering. The lead kept breaking out. And the order was incomplete.
All emails, letters and phone calls were ignored. Months later i eventually filed a complaint with Illinois BBB.
COOL VALLEY'S response was one sentence: "we thought we sent the whole order". And no reference to the mixed up colors or inferior quality.
A 2nd box of pencils did arrive after this BBB report. I filed a followup with the BBB and said that while i was sort of glad to see the 2nd box of pencils, this lack of customer concern was costing them my business.
It's been another year and i am ready to order more carpenters pencils. Actually its been more than a year and my husband is complaining because he has been using store bought, unimprinted carpenters pencils for a few months.
I came on the inet to find a new supplier of carpenters pencils and see that based on other's experiences with COOL VALLEY PENCILS, we were the lucky ones.
