I was chosen from a advert to shoot video, and Ron, without
any knowledge of my work, within 48 hrs hired me unseen
He did not tell me his last name till I WAS ON SET.
I showed up on time,
He was 1/2 hour late, I had instructions, he kept
telling me one thing, and 1 hour later. He would tell me another. Confusing.
Normally on set, one is allowed food break, but I was
"hustled" without apology, and only had time to
go to the restroom. I was bullied from the beginning
even the producers (not related) asked me if
I WAS OK? THE FILM folks were a bit put off, by my "cam" I had to BS them, and say I was just taping for fun. They frowned.
They said "Why did Ron hire a camcorder operator?
Why indeed.
I was informed on one technical procedure, and
later, he flip and changed his whole story.
This is beyond amature...
I finished the shoot, which was simply "shooting a camcorder" and was professional, and timely in the dvd product.
I was FRIGHTENED how amature the music portion was, I mean the production, the hiring of the girls who DID NOT KNOW HIS NAME, OR EVEN who the artist was (HIRED UNSEEN)
On the following upcoming days, I was continually harrassed, belittled and noticed a hostility to the tone, and was baffled?
I am used to temperments, I am no stranger to working in the industry
I don't hold grudges, and I can take a critical tone, but this was the lowest personally I had to go... To learn a lesson
I heard about this guy from ALL MY MUSIC producers in the 80's!
