I received a invitation through the mail for my highschool reunion. It stated to save money, to purchase in advance the tickets online and also to purchase a memory book. I spent about 200.00 in the tickets and the book. I also reserved a room at a hotel close to the Queen Mary to where it was supposed to be at. I bought myself a new dress. I got my hair and nails done. The place was about an 1 hour and 1/2 away. I got to the place and was told that the reunion was canceled a day before and I was never notified by the company. I later received an email from someone at my highschool that they were forced to cancel the reunion because they had not heard from the company and was told by the Queen Mary that they never paid the rest of the funds to hold the reunion. They also did not pay the DJ. They were also informed that they previously did the same thing to another highschool and they had to come up with the rest of the funds to pay the Queen Mary and the DJ. I tried to call and email the company and they would not respond. I got my money back because I filed a dispute with my credit card company. But I am still out of the money I spent on my dress, nails and hair. The gas was not cheap either. I also had to pay a fee to cancel my hotel room. We also never had our reunion. This company ruined a lot of memories and ripped off a lot of people that paid in advance. There were also people that flew in from other states to come and were told when they arrived there was no reunion. If you are planning your reunion, I strongly suggest to never use this company. I don't even think I will go to another reunion just due to this incident.
