Sadly, my mentally unstable ex-wife got bought into this attorney's services hook, line, and costly sinker. She took advantage of a mentally disturbed client by making promises she could not deliver. Regularly showed up to court unprepared, failed to respond to any discovery reports on time, and failed to complete any tasks that were assigned to her by the court... Only to go back to court to drive up costs for both parties by attempting to make accusations that the clients... Thats right... The clients did not complete the work SHE was paid to complete.
In short, she sets VERY LOW standards, then fails to achieve them.
The NM State Bar will not take any action on this attorney... Which is a testament to how extremely poor the judgement is within our NM Family Courts.
As I write this, we are entering 4 years of post divorce proceedings for unfounded claims. Amidst all her Profit over People business style, she has managed to victimize our minor child in the process.
Personally, I would not recommend ANYONE filing for divorce in New Mexico to enlist the services of an attorney. Take care of it yourself! Even if you have to surrender everything you own to your former spouse you WILL... ABSOLUTELY WILL come out financially better then getting trapped in this corrupt mindless system that only serves to victimize families for the purpose of profit. AND if you absolutely have to, be aware of Barbara Arbuckle and any attorney who is a "Proud" graduate from the University of New Mexico Law School.
