Carestone Assisted Living, aka Hearthstone Assisted Living stole my pay. After working for the as a kitchen manager for a year, I left on good terms, giving 2 weeks notice and training my replacement.
I made my budgets for my quarterly bonus, but after I had left, they refused to pay it to me saying that I had to work there while the bonus was issued. I worked there well after the quarterly period ended and I met all of the budgets in order to get my bonus.
Although I tried to be as nice as possible, and get the money that I earned from them, they just kept ignoring me until they finally said that they're policy was "very clear." They never mentioned it to me while I worked there, and it wasn't in any literature they gave me.
The Carestone and Hearthstone Assisted Living facilities are located all across the country. Never go work for them, and more importantly, don't ever let anyone you care about live in one of their facilities. They are thieves and con artists.
