I applied for an ID book a year ago %u2013 mine was stolen last February and still have not received it. It is the third time now I have had it replaced.
They say they are waiting for verification of my Permanent Residence from the UK. I attached my copy with the application with they have verified twice before.
Does it take a year to get authorization %u2013 I don%u2019t think so!
