Worst experience ever! We travel frequently, have stayed many places, and have never had such a terrible experience with an establishment. Massimo is rude, unprofessional, unaccomodating, & dishonest. We reserved 3 rooms through bookit.com along with many other reservations for various places. Plans changed, and we had to cancel and change reservations. This was THE ONLY establishment we had a problem with. Not only was it extremely unclear on the site that it would not be refundable (one of the many things Massimo tried to insult us about), but bookit.com informed us they had tried to contact him about a refund for a reservation that was ALMOST A YEAR AWAY! Massimo stated that he "is an innocent 3rd party", and that this was bookit.com's policy which is COMPLETELY UNTRUE. Long story short, it was at his discretion, and he refused, and the lied about it. One year would be plenty of time to resell the room. Not only that, but he was insulting and rude throughout - and we finally had to block him from contacting us further. We have booked multiple "non refundable" rooms through bookit.com - which were all CLEARLY marked that this was the case. NOT with B & B sleep and fly. It is included in a sentence that is easily missed (as it was), and was NOT marked on ANY of the correspondence we received. Basically paying $300 NOT to stay here is the best money I've ever spent. Dealing with this guy has been a nightmare - I can only imagine how poorly he treats his guests.
