I talked to Tom Baldwin the agent for United Consumer Awareness Association and he misled me by telling me I could see my regular doctor, when in fact he wasn't listed under their plan. I had to pay upfront for membership and the first month's premium. The receptionist told me on the phone that my doctor wasn't covered under the plan so I cancelled it within the 24 hour period. Ten minutes later I got a call from Tom Baldwin saying that I should talk to him because he was the insurance agent and that the customer service people don't know. At that time he asked if I would sign up again and I did. After I received all the paperwork in the mail I discovered that my doctor indeed wasn't covered uner the plan. I cancelled the plan again and filed a complaint with their management department and they didn't respond. This is a bad agent and company and I hope this saves other people the headaches that I have experienced.
