Looked very official and gave me comfort because the email said "The eBay Buyer Protection Program covers buyers who complete a transaction on an eBay company website (eBay, Gumtree, Kijiji, Craigslist) for the following types of deliberate and material misrepresentation by the seller"

Please don't get taken like me.
