I enrolled my daughter in a high school program with gates academy to finish her high school and receive a diploma. She has been homeschooled since third grade is now 16 and we just wanted a diploma to get her started in college. They enrolled her and took payments automatically from bank account of 50.00 every two weeks. Her tuition was 350.00. Once she completed she also ordered over 40.00 of merchandise. We understood she would not get diploma until all tuition was paid. The bank account they had set up was closed down due to a divorce. We owed them 100.00 at that time. I called the school to let them know our bank account had changed and that is when I realized there was a problem. I have been calling them since February. I have emailed and called too many times to keep track. I cannot get her diploma until the 100.00 is paid, however, since no one will call me and no one is responding, by all appearances they appear to be a scam. I call daily now and I email daily. Their site will only take me to student log in and it is the same information and only a place to enter your credit card info. My poor daugter is devestated. She cant get drivers license or enter college and I have no money to pay for another program. She is not in compliance as she is not enrolled in school and we are so sick at what has happened. I researced company through home schoolers national accreditation and was told they were fully accredited and apparently that was a lie or a scam too. I am out almost 300.00 and they have ruined my daughter future and they need to be held accountable.
