Having read an article in the Australian Womens Weekly about a trail for BIO Slim and BIO cleanse diet tablets I sent for the sample bottles. On the 8th Feb my credit card was charged AU$5.07 for each bottle which was the correct amount as advertised. The sample bottles arrived today on 7th March. I decided to check the website to see correct usage of the product.
Instead what I found is that many others had been scammed and had money taken from their credit cards without authoriation. I immediately checked my statement online and found that I have also fallen victim to this scam. On the 25th Feb extmangobill 8885920238 deducted AU$95.19 and on the 27th Feb advmetabill 8552562876 deducted AU$85.45 from my credit card.
I will be calling my bank first thing tomorrow morning and cancelling my credit card to prevent any further financial loss. I would have thought that I could trust a product reported on and endorsed by the Australian Womens Weekly.
