I foolishly responded to an advertisement on m y internet site that said i was the millionth user and qualified for a discount on holidays in the US. The deal was for 6 days and 5 nights in Orlando Florida for 4 people, free car rental with unlimited mileage, 4 days and 3 nights in Daytona beach for 4 people, 4 days and 3 nights in the Bahamas for 4 nights with a $102 cruise option with all meals and drinks, 5 dyas stay in Costa Rica for 4 people. The total came to $3898 plus the optional $102 and a discount of $3000 leaving a payment due of $1000 which i stupidly paid. They gave me a web-site address that did not work (www.startvacationingnow.com) and a phone number for calls from Australia of 001114074046835 which did not answer. After realising this i contact my credit card company and found that the funds had been released and i had little recourse except to have my details listed on their fraud list if they tried to use my card again. I was not thinking clearly and advise all readers to be aware. One thing that should have twigged is that they constantly told me not to quit the web-site (probably so i could not check their bonafides).
