I purchased 3 emeralds from Ivan, none of which appraised for the amount I even paid for them. I had GIA appraisers appraise the Gems. Thus, I sent them back to Ivan asking him to re-sell them to someone else and get my money back.
Ivan had a personal friend of his appraise two of the Emeralds for an astounding amount. One 2.56 ct for $6,780. My GIA appraisal was for $586.00.. Ivan sold this gem on March 22 for a measly $200 and I am still trying to get the money he owes me. I paid way more than $500 for this gem, he had no right to sell it so cheaply.
