On 2/4 I had a pop up that said I had won a 1000.00 gift card to Walmart. Upon filling out mailing info (for gift card to be mailed), I was asked to answer a few questions. Answering one question led to something else; on & on. I was finally told that I only had to complete 2 reward offers and I would complete the eligibility requirements. I did this and got a message that I would receive an e-mail message to confirm shipping details. I could never get past shipping details. I couldn't get to the end; I was returned to the same steps over & and over. I did all of this an when i got to the redeem gift it; the program would not go further. But within minutes, I was receiving phone calls from to get "free gas card" for $1 if I tried a trial of (whatever) for $ per month. I got a call for a "free Target card" if I paid $ for a free trial of (whatever) for so many months. I have NEVER responded to a pop up; lesson learned.
I am an educator of 34 yrs. And embarrassed that I got duped. I taught students in computer classes to be cautious of such fradulent companies and ads that are too good to be true. (cost for books for 2 yr., cost of # of videos required, payment of $1000 as promised)
