I was stupid enough to fall for this crap I purchased the bid pack after seeing a advert for Ipads at $40.88, and then saw the auctions going and though fantastic I might be able to get an Ipad that I really need for my small business so I started to bid, well I thought everything was going well. I got in a bidding war early on but with only half of my bids gone the clocked counted right down to sold. I had won the Ipad AU$126.88, I was stoked. Then the site froze and about 30secs later the clock went back up and started counting down. I was so upset. But then I had to start bidding again as the auction restarted so before I knew it i was out of bid and my $99 was gone in smoke. I emailed them they came back with some crap about it being a technical glitch, I now know the issue was an actual person won the item not their bid bot.
The next day they restocked my bids and I thought nothing of it and then I bid on another one cause i had these bids, well the auction went for almost 3 days and still no result. Every time I bid these Bid Buddy bids appeared until it became so stupid that turned off the computer. Out of curiosity I logged in 5 minutes later but didn't go near the auction i was in before and low and behold the item was sold. I have since been told that it is a scam to get people to buy bids but no one ever wins.
All I wanted was the Ipad that I won fair and square but they were never going to do that. But I am so silly I first thought it was because I was on a US site that i couldn't win too many people bidding at the same time and all, so I went to Viaziz which was supposed to be a AU site & wasted another $96 on bids to now find out it is the same type of scam. Talk about stupid, the $200 i have spent could of gone on towards the Ipad instead it is money I didn't have to waste gone. I'm struggling to set up my home business so I can stay home to look after my baby girl as I can't afford child care and this happens. I just feel so let down by these sites, taking my money and cheating me out of my ipad too how rotten are they.
These sites should be shut down it is unfair, dishonest and totally disgusting. They always say if its too good to be true then it is, I fell for this one. I might stop kicking my self soon, when I can make my money back.
