I received a check in a large envelope issued oct. 4.
The only thing in the envelope was the check. I checked the internet and found other people have been scammed with this same check amount from the same company.
I took the check and envelope to chase bank where it has been reported to the fraud department. Chase manhatten bank in new york is the bank name on the check. The check is a fraudulent. I did not cash it but other people were not so lucky. If you receive one of these checks take it and the envelope directly to a chase bank and report it. These people need to be stopped. They are out to get your signature and bank account number and who knows what they would do with that.
