I quick applied to several jobs on careerbuilder.com, and a man by the name of Michael Moore responded to my resume post and offered me a personal assistant job. He explained to me that he owned a Humanitarian Foundation and due to his busy schedule and excessive travelling, he would need me to send money to places for him. The first assignment given was a money order of $925.17 and before cashing it I checked with a postman upstate to clarify if it was real or not. He stated that it was, so I went ahead and cashed it. With that money he told me to take $200 out for myself and western union the rest (725) to a woman by the name of Amber Lansaw in Los Angeles, California; he claimed that she was a representative for the orphanage he was donating to in order for them to obtain proper supplies for the children. I was beyond fascinated by his dedication to these children, so I western unioned the money to Amber. I notified him and he sent me my next assignment through email. It was 2 more money orders both for 925.17, and he wanted me to do the same thing; take a fee out for myself and send the rest to Amber again. This time though, I went to cash it at the USPS in the city, and the man informed me that they were counterfeit and I had been scammed. The postman confiscated the money orders and told me to get a hold of anyone I can to inform them of being scammed. I have every email he sent me, along with the western union reciept from when I sent the first "assignment" out, and the envelope that the 2nd "assignment" came in. I am devastated and don't know what to do! Please help me!
