The Lake point Tower management allowed kitchen and Bathroom Arts also known as Design Home Deluxe inc. To operate out of the second floor of this building. I own a unit in that building and I paid over $80,000.00 for a remodel of my unit. Before work started I was contacted by Brian White of the City of Chicago because of the permit the owner of the company was trying to receive. The City of Chicago could have required the owner of this company to return my deposit because he could not get a permit. However Brian White of the city of chicago just did not want to help. Deyan Wolfson was allowed to scam many more victims because no one wants to stop this crook! Mr. Wolfson could not obtain a permit for the work to be done at my unit, however the building allowed him to continue to do unliscensed work on other units. The management knew the work was done without a permit but looked the other way. So many units in Lake Point Tower are substandard. Most of the water leaks are due to unliscensed work being done with the full knowledge of the buildings management. I pay too much money to have my upstairs neighbor damage my unit because of poor work.
