On October 13 I sent S. USA Insurance Co. Brief but simple instructions to cancel her insurance policy. We received a letter dated December 14 stating "here is the information you requested, and it was only cash value and surrender value information. I then called them. They told me forms had to be filled out to cancel the policy, I said send them.
We received those forms after December 29. I promptly mailed all of the forms they requested. On January 27 we received a letter requesting her original policy, and a form that must be notarized, and a lost policy form. We no longer have the original policy because we sent it to them. I called them and they said they cannot find her file and that I must send the notarized lost policy form, so they can send it to me so I can send it back to them.
One hundred and six days for something that should be taken care of with only a phone call and its still not over. During this time they have taken out of my 75 year old mothers account 3 more payments.
