Yes—Buybootnow.net is too good to be true. Thinking this website was offering a great deal on genuine Uggs I ordered a pair on Dec. 13.By the time they arrived on 1/04/10, I already knew they would be fakes. I had it verified by the Ugg company. Buybootnow.net is a known counterfeit dealer. Ugg has its boots crafted in China, but they will always be shipped from Australia if they are genuine. The boots I got smell like petroleum product and glue; the shaft is some kind of wet suit material rather than leather; and the boots only have sheepskin inserts (very thin) on the soles. They are lined with some kind of fake fur. The boots arrived crammed in a cardboard box with no packaging and no return label. Communication with "customer service" is very difficult. I tried to cancel the order before it arrived but no luck. I'm not hopeful I can achieve a return at all, and certainly not quickly. I do have a dispute listed with paypal, and that's what I would recommend to buyers who—like me—realized their mistake too late. If you read through the buybootnow.net website, it's clear that it is a bogus site, but I let the prospects of a good deal blind my judgement. A painful lesson.
