Eddie James Ministries is basically a music "ministry". They travel and dance sing... Whatever for people's entertainment and money. Eddie James has recorded several albums and not paid his musicians any royalties. He always claims to have financial problems to cover up the fact he doesn't want to pay the talented musicians and singers that he uses. Myself and many other individuals toured with him, recorded our "intellectual property" on his albums, and were never compensated.
If you are looking to have him perform at your church, for a convention, or any other venue, please evaluate the true character of this man and his business. Especially for those of you he is willing to "recruit" to do the "Lord's work". He makes many huge and exciting promises but doesn't come through with them in the end. He is currently facing a class action lawsuit for unpaid royalties on his album "Freedom".
Be careful when dealing with this individual or those closely tied to his ministry. The "right" intentions don't always pay the bills or take care of those he's left behind pennyless. He was based out of Rod Parsley's church in Columbus, OH for a while, and suspiciously asked to leave. The same happened when he joined the International House of Prayer (IHOP) in Kansas City, MO.
