Mahibay representative Brenda contacted us in 11/06 and told us what a wonderful company this was and that within 4 to 6 weeks we would have a website that would be making money. We have it on a recording which we will be happy to turn over to any authority who might be investigating them. Lots of bragging and untrue statements as it turned out. She must have known it wasn't true. She promised a total working website loaded with over 40 million products from places like Sears, Wal-Mart, Gap, K&B Toys, Office Depot, Target, Circuit City, etc. The exact words were "this is the answer to your financial problems, just buy this website and within 6 weeks you will be making lots of money" enough to pay off this website and all the others as well. All the others were a scam perpetrated upon us by AWSM Technologies, later Search Marketing LLC.
Mahibay doesn't even submit the site to search engines, no optimization and no marketing. They told us to do the optimization and the marketing. We, who knew nothing about computers. Of course Brenda didn't mention this. She said a complete package up and running and selling. We didn't know the difference. The only thing they did for us for $4,500 was to make a "cover sheet" and place it over a site that we ALREADY had, Simplx. Simplx has the lowest profit margin of any dropshipper I have worked with. I thought it was a ripoff too.
I told the owners that we had been deceived and defrauded and we wanted our money back. HA! They had also been collecting $50/mo. For hosting fees. Josh refused any refund. He just gave me lectures about how it was all MY FAULT! I just parked the website in July.
BEWARE of this company. Don't get cheated by them. Stay away from them. Stay away from SearchMarketing, LLC as well. I'm just now filing this report because I didn't find out how to do it until today.
