Beware beware everyone beware of chicago lenders & cactus jacks!!! These company's have taken advantage of a Terminally ill woman. Who took a very long time to save up $2000 deposit down for a car so she can get to her Doctor appts. She was able to save up some money from her disability check and belive me that is not much no one can live off of $100 a month! SO with a lot of help from the family we were all able to pitchin and help her out!
We had seen in add for Cactus Jacks and thought that they would be doing honest business but boy were we Wrong! The next day after getting the car the engine light came on so she called Cactus Jacks and told them that the "Engine Light" came on and they said that it was a censor nothin to worry about! Well being that she had given a $2000 deposit down she wanted it taken care of and her money's worth! So she took the car in and they kept the car for a week and never called her to let her know what was going on. Not only that but she gave the $2000 deposit down and they said that she still owed $7,000 on the car and it was an old car a 2005 neon. So hazen finally called her from Cactus Jacks and let her know her car was supposibly FIXED!
So she went to pick up her car and she was driving down the street and all of a sudden the Engine Light comes back on and the car turns off in the middle of the intersection!!! Thank god that there is still some people left in this world that do have a heart! This man helped her out by pushing the car into a gas station well the light was green!
So she calls Cactus Jacks back and tells them what's going on with the car and they told her that there is nothin wrong with the car! So she calls me and tells me that her car stopped in the middle of the intersection and there was a man kind enough to help her out and pushed the car into a gas station! I was very thankful for that. So we had a tow truck pick the car up and drop it off at Cactus Jacks thinking that they would for sure this time fix the car right!!!
Nope another Failure! All they did was MICKEY MOUSED wires with black electric tape. We had noticed it when she had taken the car home the "ENGINE LIGHT" had came on again. So by this time she was very fustrated and upset and ends up in the HOSPITAL from all the STESS that CACTUS JACKS has caused her. I am not even done becuse there is still CHICAGO LENDERS! So my mom stays in the hopital for a week of a mild heartattack!!! Thank god she was going to be ok. Well she was in the hospital Cactus Jacks has her car again and they reassure that this time the car will work and the "Engine Light" will not come back on!!!
So after a week in the hospital she contacts Cactus Jacks and Hazen tells her I have nothing to do with the car! SO now that Cactus Jacks took her money they don't even want to talk to her or listen to her complaints. They would hang up on her and never gave her the time or day to let her talk without them hanging up on her! By this time Chicago Lenders calls her and tells her not to worry about the payment becuse she needs to tell Cactus Jacks to give her another car!!!
So she calls Cactus Jacks again and they do the same thing to her give her the run around. So she calls Chicago Lenders and speeks to Edwind who tells her not to worry that she does not have to pay becuse of the misunderstandings on the car!
A few days later she starts getting the HARRASMENT CALLS AT HOME!!! From ANNA who tells her that she is late on her payments and that she needs to make a payment on the same day she talked to my mother. My mom ADVISED Anna! That she spoke to EDWIND and he told her not to worry about the payment until the car situation was taken care of. ANNA sat on the phone and began to tell her that she was lying and that was not true there was no notes documented on her file!!! So my mother tells ANNA that she wants to talk to the manager & ANNA replies she is out of the office. So my mother let's ANNA know that she will call the "MANAGER FRANCES" back and see why they are harrassing her about the car payment!
My mother finally gets a hold of the MANAGER FRANCES thinking that she will understad the situation and FRANCES does not even listen to my mom she tells her well you haven't paid your car and hung up on my mom... So my mom calls her right back and Anna Answers the phone and says that the manager is not in and hangs up... Now my mom is like what is going on so she calls Cactus Jacks and they do not even listen to her so my sister goes down to Cactus Jacks to see why they are treating our mom this way and the manager and Hazen tell my sister that my mom was yelling and was getting violent with them...!!! My sister told them that is not true becuse our mom has only dropped off her car and left becuse no one would listen to her or help her out...
A couple of days go by and the phone calls stop!!! My mom goes to a her doctor's appt with the car that the engine light is still on and when she comes outside to leave her car was GONE!!! Automatically my mom calls us and tells us that someone stole her car and when she calls the police they advise her that it was REPOED... So she calls cactus jacks and they say we have notting to do with that car and hangs up on her. She calls chicago lenders and tells them why they repoed her car and they said becuse you didn't make your payment... My mom did not even have the car for a month.
A few weeks later my mom recieves a letter from chicago lenders saying that they were going to sell the car in an auction and that she was responsible to pay the car balance in full. Personally I do not apperciate the way my mom was treated and how these people treated her!!! So not only is my mom without a car but she is now out of her $2000 they told her that she could not have her money back both Chicago lenders and Cactus Jacks...
I do not recommend that you take anyone here or do any kind of Business with these company's at all they are only out to get your money and give you a piece of s*t lemon car!!! We went to the mesa police department and as soon as we mentioned Cactus Jacks & Chicago lenders they said oh no we have heard of how they do business and we have dealt with both company's and they are no good!!! So you tell me was it right of how these two company's took advantage of someone who is terminally ill???
