I was vacationing in Florida when I saw a TV Ad for Snuggies. It said. Buy one, get a second one free. Sounded good... Christmas was coming, had lots of people on my list who might enjoy it.
I did not make contact with T.V. Telephone number.
Within days, some marketing company became involved and I was geing inundated with e mails re Snuggies.
Fool that I am, I still thought it good idea for christmas presents. I ordered the offer now was two at under 19 dollars each... When I ordered these I was offered a further two at 14 dollars each... Like a complete FOOL, I ORDERED ON MY CREDIT CARD.
I still have not received the order, though my Visa Card has been charged.
The order is purported to have been shipped.By the postage and handling (73.60 U.S.) is more than the order (69.80 U.S.) Add to this the exchange rate and my bill is enormous. I feel really ripped off! Although must admit a "Fool and his money is soon parted"
To make matters worse, this is now being offered on line at under 10 each and a Canadian catalogue company (Regal) is selling it, without any postage for under $20.00 Canadian.
Something should be done about this... But WHAT?
