Invited us through a free gift mail offer to a 90 minutes presentation on travel services they provide by offering free gifts and tried to pressurise us to sign up for travel club membership at a cost of approx $9000.00. When we politely indicated that we do not plan to make such impulsive purchases, they made insulting gestures and sent us out of the builing through a back door after forcing us to sign a Gift Acknowlegement (without giving us time to read the fine print on the gift documents) and receive two gift documents: (1) The Complete Package for two airline tickets, two night hotel accommodations, etc., from Millennium Travel and (2) One Week Car Rental from VIP Travel Reservations.
Each of the two certifcates required a $100.00 deposit (allegedly refundable) through a cashier check/money order and meeting numerous conditions, which are almost impossible to fulfil.
We believe that this is a scam. We want everyone to be aware of such offers and be careful not to fall pray to such enticing offers.
