I was 100 % retired as of February 1. I had contacted Idearc in October by phone to cancel my advertising and was told everything would be taken care of. I sold my business and the new owner took over February 1. I am 100% retired and am still receiving bills for advertising in which they renewed in March. I have been threatened and harassed by the customer service representatives at Idearc, as well as collection agencies they have turned me over to. I was told by Idearc that I would pay for this the rest of my life.
Talking to them is like talking to a stone wall. They are so rude! I even had the new owner contact them and they told her that it wasn't her problem and they couldn't discuss it with her. HOW DO I PROVE TO THEM THAT I AM 100% retired, out of business, and that they had no right to authorize advertising in March when I was already OUT OF BUSINESS!!?
