To clarify - we ended up paying over $800 to move one room half-a-mile.
Secondly, McJilton said on the phone that he deliberately gave us a lowball offer and ripped us off on packing costs because he thought that if he quoted us the "actual" price, he couldn't have gotten the job. Well, he was right about that. There is no way on Earth we would have paid $800 to move one room when a U-Haul and some elbow grease cost us $47 to move 3 rooms three months earlier.
Again, avoid Simply Moving at all costs...
