So where do I begin... This started when my fiance signed up for homeplay with a purchase he made through another company. They were charging 19.95 a month, but actually charged us that amount twice on the same day! Then other misc. Charges of a dollar here and a dollar there. We cancelled that and told them to please refund the money. Well they refunded one charge of 19.95 but not the other.
I just recently was going through my online bank statement to find charges now coming from todays escapes for 19.95 a month for the last three months! I never auth. This whatsoever. My assumption is that homeplay sold my information to this company or they are somehow affiliated. Either way this is a total scam! So now I have to launch an investigation through my debit/credit card and cancel this card.
I am also going to be trying to contact this company as soon as they open the phones! Along with the BBB to report this fraudulent activity. I am soooo ticked off. Beware of Homeplay, Value Plus and Todays Escapes as they are all one in the same and will steal your money and account information. I am sure they will have a suit against them if they do not already. I have found numerous complaint sites on these companies. BE CAREFUL PEOPLE! And good luck I fell for all that are dealing with this.
