Even though I had been advised to be wary of sending funds before the services were rendered, I convinced my husband that it should be okay with all of the different companies out there now, they have to be legitimate. I chose Timeshares Quick Sales because after talking to Jim Madison he sounded very sincere and genuinely interested in selling our timeshare. Several times he stated that the average sale of these properties is 6 months.
I had contacted the company a few times in the past couple of years with various changes in our status but never talked to the same person twice. I did complain that I had never had one response and that the only correspondence I got from them was when I initiated it. I was told that this was standard procedure. We would only be contacted if there was a potential buyer. Each time they suggested that we lower our asking price.
I really thought I would know a scam when I saw it. But 600 wasted dollars later, I'm the one with egg on my face and they are laughing all the way to the bank.
