I was contacted on my cell phone by a representative at Web Wealth Strategies LLC in May about a supposed internet based business opportunity. He played a pre recorded message giving a little insight into the business and subsequently talked to me after the message played. He was hyping this opportunity about having a personal e-commerce we site and said I should really consider it.initially I felt uncomfortable about it and really wasn't interested but he was persistent and kept indicating what a great opportunity it was. After about 10 minutes he led me to believing it was an opportunity and that I should think about it. I said I would and he insisted that he would call me back in a couple of hours. I was surprised how persistent he was. He did call me back and said I would really want to consider it. I tried to say no but he was insistent and proceeded to ask me for my banking information. I felt maybe it was an opportunity so I went with it. I paid the initial fee of $495. He said I made a great decision and I would be contacted by an advertising coach later.
Within a day I received a call regarding promoting this web site that was being created for me. When he asked me how much money I wanted to make I did not really know how to answer him. He equated the amout I outlayed in advertising to how successful I would be.
He said that the advertising would be $6,000 and when I heard that I balked and said I can not afford it and I was not interested. He was very persistent too and said he would offer me a special package for $3,000. I still was uncomfortable about it but eventually gave in due to his persistence and I naively believed he was telling me the truth.
After providing him with my credit card information he said I would be further contacted and would have my site going shortly.
It is now 3 months later and no website was created nor was there any form of advertising. I tried to contact the company to receive my $3,495 back to no avail.
I am very upset about this and recently lodged a complaint with the Arizona Better Busines Bureau reporting them.
I also disputed the charge with my credit card company an bank.
I will never deal with this company again. They are criminals.
