I have received a letter today and checked this site to see if it is a scam. I can only find one other of this kind on here from 2004 so feel i have to put a little note on here for other people. I will briefly tell you what it says:
From: the desk of the managing director
reference number: ndo/14562535741
batch number: 126523866503
attention: my name
These people are pleased to inform me that on the 23 July my name was attached to a ticket number and that it consequently wone the lotter in the 3rd category. I have been approved for a lump sum payment of 815,950.00 euros.
It has been deposited with a financial institution insured to my name.
Basically i am to contact the claim agent DR LOUIS PEREZ the Foreign Service Manager of UNION SECURITY & FINANCE COMPANY on a different number to the top of the letter being 00 34 639 269 275 and different fax number of 00 34 679 265 990 for prize money to go into a designated account of my choice.
If not done by the 7 September my funds will be returned to the Ministerio De economia y Hacienda. 5% of my prize money belongs to my claim agent as part of commission. The commission is to be paid to UNION SECURITY & FINANCE COMPANY S. A but only after i have received my funds.
To avoid delays i am to quote the batch number and reference number
This is then signed by MR. MIGUEL PEREZ - DIRECTOR
Other names on this letter include at the bottom right:
Loterias y Apuestas del Estado and Ministerio De Hacienda
Please if anyone reads this... Do not reply to this... I am a very suspicious person and have not done so... But i do feel that some people may not be like me and get seriously ripped off. I will not be putting this in the bin as i will be taking it to the local police station as advised during my search for information on this letter.
I hope this is of help to someone
