Nashville, tn do not interview there! Marketing Scam, B2B sales, Management Training, Cydcor, JP Consulting, DO NOT INTERVIEW THERE!

Where do I even begin? Just wanted to make any job seekers aware of a company, here in Nashville, that you should avoid at all costs. I am speaking from experience, unfortunately, and want to let you all in on a few things about JP Consulting.

First off, this company was formerly Stallion, Inc. But it seems that they ruined there reputation under that name and have since then had to go under the new name JP Consulting. Stallion and JP Consulting are two seperate companies, they share one office and both do outside sales for Bellsouth. Stallion is run by Whitney Myrick and JP Consulting is run by Jonathan Perry.

Whitney Myrick is probably the most deceitful, dishonest, and selfish person I have ever met. Ever wonder why people quit? It's because they can't stand you.

I'm sure you've seen the ads on Careerbuilder and Monster, they say "Management Training Program", or "Marketing Liason", or "Corporate Training Program"- right, if you consider cold-calling on 60 businesses a day, working on commission, using your own car and own gas. Your day actually starts about 7am and you get to leave at about 7pm. And plan on being kicked out of stores, yelled at, and making $0 on any given day. I'm sure you're already applying right now uh?

Stallion and JP Consulting prey on college students because let's face it, you don't really have a clue and you're just excited to get an interview, much less a job! And they make it sound so appealing, except they leave out things like:

*Just because you sign up a customer, they can ABSOLUTELY cancel their order, leaving you without any commission, and it happens quite frequently! Somehow I dont remember my trainer filling me in on that one!

*And when you come in for the first interview - remember how sketchy that was? Chances are you were just brought in so Liz could make her goal of 20 interviews for the day. I remember resumes that were printed out and passed around the office for everyone to laugh at, and they were still called for an interview to get them in as a joke.

* I wouldn't feel too special if you get a call back either - if you can walk, breathe and talk - you will get a call. Who knows - you may be good 'practice' for someone so they can learn how to train. They just assume you'll be gone in a week anyway, or they will try to 'neg' you out so you quit.

*oh, and when you are waiting in the lobby for your 2nd interview, for sometimes an hour - because they can't get their shit together - its because they are in the office crowded around telling dead baby jokes or racist jokes, (although sometimes they hold off on the racist jokes when there is an african-american person in the office.) how considerate.

I can't believe I stuck around as long as I did, but if writing this saves someone else the trouble then it is well worth it.

I can't even explain all of the terrible, pathetic and unethical things I have witnessed working there. For these people to do what they do, they must not have souls. I can't believe they can sleep at night - oh wait, I can because they go out and drink everynight of the week. Hmmm - I guess to help them forget what horrible people they really are. If you are reading this - tell everyone you know to avoid Stallion and JP Consulting. Or if you have some extra time on your hands, go on in for an interview, it'll be a good laugh.
