Household Bank Household, HSBC, Orchard Bank. I just signed up, wha happens if I dont use the card? Help

I just got approved for the Orchard Bank card and the Household car. After reading some of the complaints on here I am really worried about getting them now.

If I don't use the card at all and I cut them up right away they cant charge me anything can they?

How do I get out of this with them?

I knew something was wrong when I got approved. It was too good to be true, I am building my credit and I don't want anything messing up all the work I have put into cleaning it up.

Someone please advise me if there is anything they can charge me if I DONT use these card? How to cancel COMPLETLY?
